Loyola has only won 1 game on the season, they're 2-7 as a home dog, and lost by 19 at Fairfield a month ago today.

Is Fairfield -13.5 the play here?

i will not be playing that one but for your information that 19 pt win by fairfield was not all that easy. the game was much closer than that and loy-md actually trailed by 5-6 some 7-8 minutes before the end. it didnt look like ffd would cover but they did in last minute or two.

I live near the Loyola campus and read about them after every game. Their record does suck but they battle hard to the end every damn game. They only have 7 healthy bodies and don't go above 6'6" but they have two decent players (guard Charlie Bell is actually pretty good). I've gone against them a few times and with them a few times this year. My only caution is if they are down 15-20 at the end, they will continue to keep their starters in (for what that is worth) and bomb the 3. They backdoored at least 3 or 4 this year when they had no reason covering.

Thanks for the input. Stolidog have you noticed if loyola tends to just lose games late due to the lack of bench? I mean if they keep they're starters in shouldn't the get tired and eventually get blown out.

They got a few players back within the past few weeks so I think they are up to 9 total though 6 or 7 are untested freshman and sophomores. They have only been blown out by 20+ four times (twice Manhattan and once each Princeton and Siena) but really do hang around against the MAAC teams. They only draw 250-300 a game so there in NO home court advantage. I have no feeling about the game - just want to provide what I know.
